The Canadian Off-Road Championship Series (CORCS) is a multi-region series
specializing in all polular off-road classes. The series currently holds races
in two regions; British Columbia and Alberta. The 2006 final will be Held in
Calgary Alberta. CORCS is a series, not a scanctioning body, and as such our
emphasis is on Fun, not Politics. If your club wishes to join the series please
contact Exec@CORCS.ca.
Points are calculated at each event; with Regional Champs crowned
at the season end.
Region points ARE NOT carried over to the final, which is to
be held in Calgary this year. A tentative schedule for the final has been set,
but once more clubs from the east join the schedule will be revised alternating
locations between east and west. Everyone attending the final has a shot at the
National Title. Until we have representation in all provinces, the
ONLY requirment to attend the final ia a CORCS membership. The membership fees
are used to promote the series. Check out our rules page
for complete points structure as well as our rules.
Each club involved has an elected representative to the CORCS "executive". Each
club involved has a say in the operation of our series.
