CAMRC Steps up for Leg 3 in BC Series - Posted By : Inferno on 12/4/2006

Early this year after Gord Barr stepped down as lower mainland rep for the CORCS series and I stepped back in , I made a commitment and that was to make sure this year we have a race in the series for our local racers to attend as part of the series. I approached two lower mainland clubs with a date, the August long weekend 2006 giving either club plenty of time to arrange and make it work. Both club reps were informed of the series and both reps told me they would have to get back to me at a later time to let me know if they were able to do it.

Well after waiting for one of the two main offroad clubs to step up in the lower mainland for the third date this coming season..... I am proud to announce that the 2006 CORCS race has been accepted by CAM RC and will be a great race. I have seen the site and the layout. The track and plans for the season to come goes to show that dedicated racers and club members can do a lot when they put effort into it and I will be happy to race there.

Thank you,

Adam Brawn
CAMRC president.

Lets all build on this momentum for a great year.
